Fusion Markets Review and Experiences 2020
Fusion Markets is one of the newest brokers on the block. Founded in 2017 and available to the general public since June 2019, Fusion Markets offers ‘every day low cost trading‘ and advertises the lowest commissions on round traded lots and spreads in the entire industry.
In this Fusion Markets review, and I was about to type ‘updated for 2020‘ but it’s actually our first Fusion Markets review, we are going to look into this promise as well as license and regulationary details, deposit and withdrawal options and available trading platforms.
So, let’s see if trading forex, CFD’s and other financial assets is really cheaper at Fusion Markets, shall we?
Fusion Markets Company Information
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Fusion Markets is founded by a series of veteran forex traders. It’s founders have over 50 years of combined trading experience and their stated mission is to make trading the financial markets as easy and economical as possible
They focus on lowering the costs of trading, yet still offer excellent support, trading circumstances and platforms as per their promises. As Fusion Markets is Licensed and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commissions (ASIC) as securties dealer, Fusion Markets is a fully regulated and licensed broker.
Being a regulated and licensed broker as per ASIC’s requirements means that Fusion Markets has to have a minimum capital of one million AUD and file regular reports, audited by third parties regarding their business doing.
Fusion markets Trading Platform(s)
Fusion Markets offers it’s traders and investors MetaTrader 4 as trading platform. Their version of MT4 comes in three versions:
– MetaTrader 4
– WebTrader for MT4
– MT4 mobile apps
As you might think: ‘why they still offer MT4 instead of MT5?‘ please take the time to read our detailed article about this below:
MetaTrader 4 remains industry standard and with strong charting capabilities, effiecient tools, multiple timeframes and full customisability there’s no need for any other platform.
Apart from just the normal MetaTrader 4, Fusion Markets offers some extra features to complement, including a Virtual Private Server and Multi Account Manager for professional traders.
Fusion Markets Social Trading
Fusion Markets also offers two types of social trading. These are MyFxbook AutoTrade and DupliTrade.
Myfxbook AutoTrade
Myfxbook AutoTrade is a social trading platform, allowing you to follow and copy traders via Myfxbook, one of the world’s largest online communities of forex trading. Some of it’s benefits include:
– No volume-based incentives, this presents signal providers from ‘churning‘ for rebates.
– No hidden fees, all fees paid by you as the trader are disclosed when you sign up
– No lock-ins/restrictions, you control whether to add or remove a system on your account.
– No Demo/Virtual systems, only live accounts with real skin in the game.
– Only the best systems, rather than showing every system under the sun, Myfxbook only shows the best run systems, hand picked by their team.
DupliTrade
DupliTrade offers traders a user-friendly copy trading platform allowing you to duplicate the actions of hand-picked traders from DupliTrade into your Fusion Markets MT4 Account. DupliTrade only chooses successful traders with a proven history and track record.
– Easily Automate, Easily automate the trading on your Fusion account based on signals from experienced traders.
– Successful Traders, DupliTrade only chooses successful traders with a proven track record and years of experience trading real money.
– Handful of Strategies, Choose from only a handful of strategies due to DupliTrade’s strict selection criteria.
– User-Friendly Interface, With just a few clicks, you can select, modify or remove strategies.
– Support, Unlike other signal providers, DupliTrade supports you 24/5 if you have any questions about their platform.
Fusion Markets Assets and Instruments
As per Fusion Markets‘ promise to make it easier to access the financial markets, they offer a wide range of financial instruments and assets to trade on including, but not limited to:
– Over 70 forex pairs
– Energy Markets including crude oil, Brent oil, natural gas
– Precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, palladium
– Equity indices
– Commodoties like coffee, wheat, cocao, sugar
– Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, dash, ripple and ethereum
This makes it easy for traders to trade their favourite asset class and diversify their portfolio accordingly.
Fusion Markets Spreads, Commissions and Fees
I took a brief look at Fusion Market‘s advertised spreads and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I actually signed up for an account, just to see if they were really that low in the actual platform and guess what, they were.
The minimum spreads are literally zero or 0.0 on popular currency pairs like AUD/CAD, AUD/CHF, AUD/JPY, AUD/NZD and AUD/USD, basically any Aussie pair and average spreads are like 1.02, 0.65, 0.48, 0.92 and 0.22 respectively.
The commissions charged by Fusion Markets are etremely low as well and must be the lowest in the entire retail trading industry. Where normal brokers charge about $7-8 per round-traded lot, Fusion Markets just charges $4,50 AUD. Fusion markets’ claim being Australia’s lowers advertised forex broker happens to be true; the broker is 36% cheaper than it’s competitors.
We can thus conclude, if you’re looking for a no-nonsense, budget broker, Fusion Markets is the right broker for you.
Fusion Markets Leverage
As if it couldn’t get better, and to be honest, I did think there must be a catch somewhere, the offered leverage on Fustion Markets is very nice: you can pick your own, up to a maximum of 500:1. One would have thought that Fusion Market push you into super high leverages but no, not at all. Your used leverage is all for you to choose by yourself.
Fusion Markets Mobile Apps and Trading Platform
Fusion Markets offers it’s MetaTrader 4 trading platform in mobile format in the form of apps for both Android and iOS devices. This gives traders the opportunity to trade on-the-go and keep track of their portfolio (values) in real-time. One of the things that have to be mentioned here is that the Fusion Markets mobile apps let you perform technical analysis, which is something most mobile trading apps and brokers don’t allow you to do on mobile and require a PC or laptop.
Fusion Markets Demo Account
As any self-respecting broker, Fusion Markets offers a demo account to allow potential traders and investors to try out their products and platform, before investing substantial amounts of real money.
Please note that we at choosebroker always suggest opening a demo account first at any broker before depositing real money. This way you can check out their platform, as in getting familiar with it, and test several trading strategies and features.
Fusion Markets Bonuses and Promotions
Fusion Markets doesn’t offer any bonuses or promotions as per regulation. And to be honest, this broker doesn’t need too. The extremely low costs are a bonus already, compared to most other brokers.
There are almost no educational and training resources available on their website. Which isn’t neceassary anyway because a) you can get that information elsewhere and b) this is kind of conflict-of-interest anyhow between the broker and trader, in my honest opinion.
Support is available of course, as you can contact them by email, phone or even live chat 24/7 with any question or problem you might have.
So, to sum it up, because of the extremely low spreads and fees and the lack of a minimum account or deposit size, Fusion Markets really doesn’t need to hand out any further bonuses or promotions.
Fusion Markets Account Types
Fusion Markets only offers two types of accounts: a demo account and a real or live account. No such thing as Gold, Platinum or VIP account at this broker; every trader and investor get’s treated the same, no matter how big or small. I think this is very fair and more brokers should go for this approach, rather than making all kind of trader hierarchies with better features for the top traders; aren’t they on top already?
Fusion Markets Trading Hours
Fusion Markets is opened around the clock Monday to Friday. Session times vary based on market hours of respective assets and financial instruments, but these are clearly visible and stated on their website.
Fusion Markets Accepted Countries
Fusion Markets accepts traders from Australia, Thailand, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Qatar and most other countries.
Traders can not use Fusion Markets from Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, United States, Japan, China, Belgium, New Zealand.
Fusion Markets Review 2020 – Conclusion
Fusion Markets does what it advertises. Provide low-cost, budget trading without all the extra, unnecessary stuff that normally fills entire brokerage websites. No education section, no trading signals, just low spreads and commissions, exactly what every trader needs. Being 36% cheaper compared to most other brokers means 36% less fees, means more profit in the trader’s pocket instead of the brokers’.
We at Choosebroker and I personally, can highly recommend openening a demo or live trading account at Fusion Markets, especially if you’re an Australian resident.
Pros
- 36% lower commissions and fees compared to other brokers
- No conflict-of-interest broker
- Fully licensed and regulated by ASIC
