In this AxiTrader review we are going to look at all the pros and cons of trading with this forex and CFD broker.
AxiTrader is a forex and CFD broker. They give traders access to a broad range of financial instruments and markets like commodities and forex.
To open a live trading account at AxiTrader you need to do a first deposit of just $1 or more. AxiTrader also offers a demo account which you can use to get familiar with the trading platform with.
AxiTrader is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, (FRN: 509746), and ASIC (AFSL #318232). AxiTrader segregates their clients money on tier 1 banks. AxiTrader is founded in 2007 and has their head quarters in Australia.

What are AxiTrader’s spreads and costs?
Like most brokers, AxiTrader makes money trough spread, the difference between the buy and sell price of a financial instrument.

Like you can see, at AxiTrader the minimum spread to trade EUR/USD is 0.2 pips, what is relatively low compared to the average EUR/USD spread of 0.70 pips. To buy one standard lot EUR/USD (100.000 units) at AxiTrader at 1.1719 and sell the same day for the same price, you’re most likely to pay just $1. At AvaTrade, for instance, you would pay $7 for the same trade.

Placing Trades at AxiTrader
AxiTrader allows you to open a trade from 0.01 lot and up to 100 lots. This can depend on the type of account you open. As AxiTrader offers ECN and STP order execution, you can expect very tight spreads and more transparency about your trading fees than at other brokers.
You can open a demo account, Micro-Account,Mini-Account, Standard Account, Zero-Spread Acount and Islamic Account. You can fund these accounts by credit card, bank wire transfer, Skrill, Payoneer and Neteller.
As market maker AxiTrader has lower minimum deposit requirements compared to an ECN broker that profits from bigger trading volume and generally more capital. Market makers overall have low requirements to open live accounts and this is also the case with AxiTrader, where you can open a live account from just $1.
AxiTrader promises no requotes, so you don’t have to worry about slippage at AxiTrader (the case when orders are being executed for a different price than you actually bought it at).
Like most brokers, the margin requirements are depending on the trader, account type and traded assets, but at AxiTrader margin requirements can be as low as just 1%.

What you need to open an account at AxiTrader
Because Axitrader is being regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the ASIC, every new client most go trough some necessary compliance checks to make sure they understand the risks involved in trading and before they can start trading. Whilst opening your account, the following documents can be asked, so it’s handy to have them at hand:
– A color copy of your passport, drivers license or national ID card.
– A recent utility bill or bank statement not older than three months which has your address on it.
You also need to answer a few compliance questions to see how much trading experience you have. So, keep in mind that opening an account can take up to 10 minutes of your time.
